Sorry to ask this unusual question this time please answer in English.

It's not me is who asking  - I am asking for a VT traveller form the States who is concerned about her safety on trains of the Transsib. I already answered what I could on an other forum, maybe others also can contribute.

transsiberian trains don't differ from other russian trains in the average. i beleive that they are rather safe. for example: i had gone, i think, more than a hundred thousand kilometers on the trains for my life, and had no problems.

however, the problem can be that i am russian and, consequently, i am a native speaker in russia, and your friend is not... but i can not say anything about this problem.

Like everywhere in Russia in Transsiberian trains you should be on the look-out - don't leave your personal things, money and papers when you leave compartment, if you travel alone, don't develop communications whith suspicious, unreliable or simply unknown people, be careful when you talk about yourself, don't show off, etc. I mean the worst that can be expected to happen is the risk of theft, which can be easily minimized by being careful.
If you mean safety in terms of probability to get into an accident, rail transport if the safest one, despite some problems seldom occure.
